Night Creeper” is a kaleidoscopic fusion of multiple eras and movements in music, its unifying theme presenting as equal parts alienation and truth-hunger. With vocals fluctuating between jazzy dusk, R&B clamor, and show tune bravado, there are elements of disco, rock, pop, and an ever-divergent improvisational underlay. Attempting to describe an album that cannot be labeled according to a single genre or sound, Penneisha says, “I have always admired artists who made universal music. My lead single, Night Creeper, speaks to a backdrop of human sex trafficking and drug addiction all too familiar in our country. To function as a humane society we need to shed light on the evil in our midst and expose it.”
Other singles include So Long, I got the blues, and Uninfluenced. Buy album now
